In the following year, she made her debut on film and television. Her appearances have been on a variety of television, film and stage programs since. She has been awarded numerous prizes throughout her career. This includes the four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, three Academy Award Nominations, and five Tony Award Nominations. While she has received numerous awards through the years, performing was always her primary interest.
