April Lockhart
April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) started her musical journey at the age of 7 when she started guitar and piano classes. In the seventh grade she began to take guitar and piano lessons. The lessons sparked her passion in songwriting. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of time to making song lyrics and working on her music. She began writing along with her dad and her dad in NY and LA soon after. April also began to include additional topics that were related to of her friends dealing with such things as peer pressure disabilities and even teenage suicide as depicted in the song Take my Hand. Lockhart has her own fan base and is a lifestyle blogger at the well-known Ilia the Clean Beauty brand. She has a disability that is a component of her personality, but it's not all of the image. Lockhart acknowledges her handicap in her posts on Instagram, however she does not make it the main focus of her story. The point? The message is: We all have numerous identities. We're much more complex than we think that we're. Lockhart talks via video in Nashville. "I do not wish for it to dictate my existence. I'm not looking to only be identified as a specialist in disability. This doesn't have any effect on my day-to-day life I do things normally, and I've discovered my own method of adjusting things. This is a major part of my life, and it's imperative to discuss it. Lockhart is a true source of source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting and is currently on a lengthy journey to achieve this. Still she admits she's gone through phases with her body, at times, being unsure about wearing particular types of clothes showing the arms of her. She is able to wear anything she likes, and proudly shares photos of her dressed in her favorite outfits. The journey itself is what I'm not certain that will ever be the end of self-love. That's true of everyone regardless of how much they are afraid. It is important to have people in your life who know and can relate to you. They'll be the ones asking what you worry about?
